PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Used as fasteners to non-permanently join objects together, threaded bar also known as threaded rod, allthread and stud is a length of mild steel with thread cut into it (looks like a headless bolt).
The thread is created through thread rolling and can be applied across the entire length of the material, on one end or both. To create a product with greater strength, hardness and wear resistance this process is carried out when the the component is cold.
The thread direction is Right Handed which means that a clockwise rotation will tighten the fastener to the bar or rod.
Available in a variety of diameters from 6mm to 42mm to suit your application and support requirements.
Purchase in lengths of 300mm or 1000mm.
This is Grade 4.8 Threaded Bar which has been zinc plated for additonal corrosion resistance.
Threaded bar is used for both commercial and home application, some examples include air conditioning unit supports, mezzanine floors, lighting fixtures, hanging shelves, metal tables and furniture design.
